EEGF II

Emerging Europe Growth Fund II, L.P. (EEGF II) is a mid-cap private equity fund with total capital commitments of $370 million for investment in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. It is a follow-on fund expanding on the success of Emerging Europe Growth Fund, L.P. (EEGF), a $132 million fund raised in 2006 with a similar investment strategy. EEGF II typically invests $15-40 million in each of its portfolio companies, including expansion, buy-out and selective early stage opportunities. It has made eight investments to-date and is currently investing.

Agro Soyuz is a diversified agricultural holding in Ukraine with three principal lines of business. The company is the leading supplier of spare parts and service in Ukraine (77 service centers nationwide); an agricultural equipment manufacturer and the sole producer of no-till seeders and cultivators in Ukraine; and a sophisticated farming business specializing in technologically advanced and vertically integrated pork production (with 11 thousand hectares under lease).
